Motorists should prepare for lane closures on Harbor Boulevard. Charlotte County announced that starting Monday next week, Irby Construction will install underground power lines, causing intermittent lane closures until Oct. 3.
The closures will occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, on Harbor Boulevard between Peachland Boulevard and Manatee Avenue. The Public Works Department advises drivers to remain alert and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
Drivers are reminded to use caution near construction zones during this period. The project is part of work to improve the area’s power network.
