The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the arrest of several individuals in connection with the fatal shooting of a 9-year-old child in Pageland. According to the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office's Facebook post, seven juveniles and four adults have been apprehended in relation to the incident.
Deputies responded to the shooting yesterday. The Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office, working with the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED), identified those allegedly involved in the case.
“This case has deeply impacted our community. Our investigators have worked tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice. We remain committed to ensuring that every individual connected to this senseless act is held accountable,” said Sheriff Cambo Streater in the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office post. The investigation remains active, and charges are forthcoming for those currently in custody.
