Chase drama unfolded on the streets as constable deputies pursued a wanted felon, initiating from a routine traffic stop gone south. According to a statement from the Harris County Constable Precinct 4, the incident took place on Thursday, when deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the 23700 block of Springwoods Village Parkway. The driver in question, John Greco, instead of complying, floored the accelerator, prompting a high-speed chase.
Deputies managed to bring the situation to a close after Greco lost control and crashed his vehicle. Greco, a convicted felon with an open warrant for Driving While Intoxicated from Pardons and Parole, was then safely taken into custody. "John Greco was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrant and charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle," Harris County Constable Precinct 4's Facebook page declared. His bond was subsequently set at a hefty $75,000.00 by the 184th District Court.
