The incident has left neighbors and family seeking answers as police continue their hunt for the unidentified assailant.
According to the Dallas Police Department, the officers responded to the distressing call at approximately 9:15 a.m., finding Rodriguez suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the rapid response and transport to the hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, Rodriguez's injuries proved fatal. The case, which has been opened under the designation number 130407-2025, is under active investigation by the authorities.
