
On a somber Saturday evening on Highway 22 in Yamhill County, a fatal accident claimed the life of a local Dallas man. According to a report issued by Oregon State Police, 45-year-old Devere Tucker Eastman was driving his Dodge Ram 1500 when he tragically failed to make a curve, left the road, and collided with a tree. The crash, which occurred at around 7:24 p.m. near milepost 16, led to Eastman being declared dead at the scene.
The incident significantly disrupted traffic along the highway as the investigation unfolded, with closures lasting for approximately four hours.
