That day's south wind will come at 10 to 15 mph, accompanied by gusts as high as 20 mph. Similar balmy weather continues into Tuesday with a 30 percent chance of showers, thunderstorms developing after 4 pm, but temperatures are expected to climb a notch higher to a near 96 degrees.

It seems the sporadic rain could linger through Thursday with a 20 percent chance of showers before 1 pm, after which the weather is set to clear up heading into the weekend.
