
The City of Davis is seeking high school students to join the Teen Leadership Council. The program helps teens develop leadership skills, work in teams, and participate in city activities. The council will meet twice a month from September through May, according to the City of Davis.
The city is inviting young residents to apply for a program that helps develop skills like communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution. The first meeting will be on September 23, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., where members can practice leading a meeting, as reported by the City of Davis.
The City of Davis is accepting applications for a year-long youth council program. Teens in the program will help plan events and work on student issues with city staff and other participants.
