A startling armed robbery took place in the middle of the day in a Woodland Hills driveway, as reported by multiple Los Angeles news outlets. On Labor Day, as two car washers were working, three masked men robbed them at gunpoint, an event caught on camera and shared by the homeowner, as reported by CBS News. The suspects, arriving in what neighbors identified as a gray Honda Accord, made off with a watch, a pocket knife, and some loose change.
The two victims had reportedly just started their car washing business and were tending to a client's vehicle when the brazen robbery occurred. The homeowner expressed a deep concern for safety, telling ABC7, "It was a bit traumatizing for all of us, and actually made me realize that I don't necessarily want to live in Woodland Hills anymore."
“You know, if it happened on a Labor Day at 11:20 a.m. in front of everybody, it can happen then at any time of the day and any day at all," the homeowner stated, according to NBC Los Angeles. No arrests had been made as of early Tuesday. Police ask anyone who recognizes the suspects or their vehicle to come forward.
