A Daytona Beach Shores man is facing serious charges after police accused him of holding a minor at gunpoint to compel sexual acts. The 78-year-old suspect, identified as Peter Brady, was booked on Wednesday on charges that include indecent, lewd, or lascivious touching of certain minors, as well as aggravated assault with a firearm and false imprisonment, ClickOrlando reported.
According to WFTV, a search warrant executed at Brady's residence resulted in the seizure of "approximately 20 firearms and 50 DVDs/video cassettes." Given Brady’s recent arrest, authorities are now actively seeking additional victims that might be connected to this case, as tips related to sexual exploitation involving minors have been reported to date back to the 1990s.
Brady was able to post bond, totaling $55,000, and was released Thursday evening. This development comes amid an ongoing investigation into the allegations against him.
