Delta Air Lines is bridging the gap between St. Louis and New York with a new non-stop service from St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL) to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Launched on September 8, 2025, this route provides a direct connection for those looking to dive into the bustling life of Manhattan or jet off to international destinations, as announced in a press release from St. Louis Government.
The convenience factor leaps with the fact that this service operates daily, Mondays through Sundays. Departures from JFK are scheduled at 2:59 p.m., landing in STL at 4:49 p.m. Conversely, the return flight takes off from STL at 4:20 p.m., and, touches down in New York at 8:00 p.m. These timings cater to both, the earnest business traveler and the leisure-seeker alike.
Importantly, this flight strengthens the bond between St. Louis passengers and Delta’s global network at JFK, which provides onward connections to over 200 destinations across more than 80 countries. For those who aim to whisk themselves into the heart of Manhattan, they can look forward to a breezy AirTrain JFK ride to Jamaica Station and then a swift LIRR train ride to either Penn Station or Grand Central Station, adding layers of connectivity to the traveler’s itinerary.
Delta Air Lines, a familiar presence at STL having been ranked as the third-largest airline at the airport, revisits a bygone connection. The airline had previously offered flights from STL to JFK up until 2015, and after a ten-year hiatus, this revived service meets a demand for expanded options, and seamless travel experiences.
