According to ClickOnDetroit, Motley departed from her residence located in the 5900 block of Neff Avenue and has since not returned home. She was last observed wearing a blue scarf, a black and white checkered overcoat, along black pants.
Described as having a height of 5′2″ and weighing roughly 110 pounds, Motley has black hair and brown eyes. As informed by her sister, Esterlene Motley suffers from Dementia and Schizophrenia, which adds a layer of urgency to finding her as promptly as possible. Wearing her black and white checkered overcoat, along with black pants, the blue scarf might have been the last piece of identity that Esterlene carried with her into the unknown.
In an effort to amplify the search, the Detroit Police Department's 5th Precinct is leading the call for any information that can help in locating Motley. The department issued a statement on social media, where they implored the community's help. "Please help us find missing Esterlene Motley," the Detroit Police Department's Missing post reads.
