Authorities say a murder-suicide in northwest Harris County left two sisters and a man dead. According to Click2Houston, the bodies were found on Monday afternoon at a home in the 12200 block of Walters Road.
A coworker who had not seen a colleague at work discovered the bodies shortly before 2:30 p.m., authorities said. Officials confirmed that two women and a man were found dead inside a home on Walters Road. Mark Herman of the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said the women were sisters, identified as Yaquelin Arias Rivas, 30, and Saidia Machado, 19. The man was identified as Rivas' estranged ex-boyfriend, 40-year-old Sebastian Rodriguez.
Officials confirmed a murder-suicide in which Rodriguez shot and killed Arias Rivas and Machado before shooting himself, as reported by ABC13. Security camera footage showed no forced entry into the apartment. Rivas’s two children were at school during the incident, and a dog was found alive inside. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is ongoing.
