According to ABC13, the altercation stemmed from a minor fender bender between a box truck and a white car that led both vehicles to pull over in a parking lot, where the situation quickly deteriorated. "Subjects were involved in a minor fender bender. They pulled over in a parking lot at which time somebody displayed a firearm and shots were fired," HCSO Sgt. Wade told ABC13.
It was during a subsequent traffic stop for running a red light near Clay Road and Greenhouse that deputies discovered the driver of the box truck had been shot in the arm, Fox26Houston reports.
