In what appears to be a coordinated theft, the Dundee Police Department responded to reports of vandalism and theft at the Spirit Ford dealership on Ann Arbor Rd. Tuesday morning. According to a post on the Dundee Police Department's official Facebook page, workers arrived to find three new vehicles stripped of their tires and rims, with two SUVs having had their windows smashed to access lug-lock keys.
The theft is believed to have occurred overnight, and the authorities are now vigorously looking to review surveillance video from the dealership and surrounding area. "Video surveillance from the scene and the area is being reviewed," the Dundee Police Department noted in their online statement, underscoring the urgency to locate any leads promptly.
Additionally, the Dundee Police Department have publicized a call to the community for assistance. "AAnyone who may have seen any suspicious individuals or vehicles in that vicinity last night are asked to contact Dundee PD Officer Joshua Stump at 734/823-1811 or [email protected]," the Facebook post continued.
