Eagle Pass, Texas, will host the 2025 Governor’s Small Business Summit on Thursday, September 11, according to Governor Greg Abbott’s office. The series, held throughout the year in different Texas regions, provides small business owners and entrepreneurs with resources, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

“Small businesses are the driving force behind Texas’ thriving economy,” Abbott said in the announcement, noting that more than 3.5 million small businesses employ nearly half of the state’s workforce.

The Eagle Pass summit will be held at the International Center for Trade and will feature panels on scaling or selling businesses, financing strategies, marketing, and a “Small Business 101” session. Joe Esparza of the Texas Workforce Commission will be a featured speaker.

Registration is $20 and includes access to all sessions, resources, lunch, and complimentary professional headshots. Additional summits this year are scheduled in Carthage, Denton, and Belton, with some focusing on women in business and veteran entrepreneurs.

The Governor’s Texas Economic Development & Tourism Office and Office of Small Business Assistance also host ongoing webinars. Recorded sessions are available on the state’s business resource page for those unable to attend in person.
