A crash on State Road 408 westbound near Bumby Avenue in Orlando caused significant traffic delays during this morning's rush hour. According to FOX 35 Orlando, the incident occurred around 6:30 a.m., with the resulting congestion extending past Crystal Lake Drive. As the city awoke to confront the snarl of vehicles, commuters were advised to find alternative routes to circumvent the chaos.
Fire crews had to swiftly act to extricate one person from the wreckage, who was subsequently taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center for treatment. According to a report by ClickOrlando, two other individuals were evaluated at the scene but declined to be transported to the hospital.
Officials have yet to publicly identify what specifically led to the crash or to formally disclose the conditions of those involved.
