A husband and wife were shot at while sitting in their driveway in East Houston. Around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, another car approached their vehicle on the 8200 block of Darlington Drive and fired shots. The husband was hit in the hand, according to FOX 26 Houston.
After being shot at, the wife drove to get medical help and told police at another scene what happened. The husband was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, as reported by Click2Houston. Houston Police Department Lieutenant Ali confirmed the events and said the husband's injuries were not life-threatening.
A drive-by shooting occurred at a family home while the couple’s two children were inside. The children were safely taken from the scene by a relative. The father survived and is recovering. Authorities have not released information on the shooter or a possible motive and continue to investigate.
