This special week is being celebrated following a resolution sponsored by Commissioner Jackie Butler, which received firm support from the El Paso County Commissioners Court. The resolution designates September 20–26 as Forensic Science Week in El Paso County, acknowledging the vital role forensic science plays in the criminal justice system.
