According to El Paso ISD, Johnson's latest achievements as the founding principal of Hartley PK-8 include initiating campus-wide systems and recruiting a team that cultivated a positive educational environment. During her previous tenure at Ross Middle School and Milam Elementary, Johnson's leadership was instrumental in not just advancing student performance but also in securing the coveted National Blue-Ribbon School Award in 2020 for Milam Elementary.
Earlier in her career, Johnson made significant strides at Travis Elementary by rolling out innovative programs that led to dramatic improvements in students' reading and science proficiency.
