Eleven individuals, including a California man and three St. Louis residents, have been indicted in a cocaine distribution conspiracy. The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Missouri reports that the defendants face charges related to trafficking over five kilograms of cocaine and participating in a money laundering conspiracy. U.S. Attorney Thomas C. Albus said the case involves a drug operation with national reach.
Among those indicted is 43-year-old Jimmy Abraham Majeau of Chino Hills, who pleaded not guilty Thursday in St. Louis federal court. St. Louis residents Michael Hunter, 63; Sonja Anne Orlando, 48; and Aaron Lamont Russell, 42, are also among the accused. Court documents allege Majeau made trips to Mexico to acquire cocaine, which was distributed across the U.S.
Seized assets include Majeau's Chino Hills property, a 2021 Lamborghini Urus, $235,000 in cash, and 18 pieces of diamond and gold jewelry.
Other indicted individuals are Earl Banks, 33, of Detroit; Eric James Hernandez, 42; Marvell Brian Lloyd, 43; Juan Jose Mendoza, 55; Alexxis Marie Ramirez, 36; Jonathon Javon Ward, 44; and Andrew Watson, 65. The DEA, USPS Inspection Service, and St. Louis County Police Department were involved in the investigation as part of Operation Take Back America.
An indictment represents formal charges and does not indicate guilt. All defendants, including Majeau, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
