
Recent operations by various Massachusetts police departments have led to multiple arrests and narcotics seizures. The Everett Police Department's Special Criminal Investigations Unit, supported by several regional law enforcement agencies, conducted raids over consecutive days targeting individuals linked to narcotics distribution in the area.
As posted on social media by the Everett Police, the first action took place on last Wednesday in the City of Lynn, where officers executed search warrants resulting in two arrests – Wanderley Ynoa-Molina and Alexander Morel Encarnacion were charged with narcotic offenses. A substantial quantity of drugs, including approximately 375 grams of fentanyl, 200 grams of cocaine, and 60 grams of methamphetamine, were seized along with drug processing paraphernalia.
The following day saw K9 handler Rizza and K9 Cooper of Everett Police uncover a hidden compartment in a vehicle. The space was harboring heroin, fentanyl, and crack. This operation ended with one individual's arrest. Another series of search and arrest warrants on September 26 in Everett resulted in the apprehension of Michael Diaz, who faced charges including possession with intent to distribute and trafficking narcotics after a thwarted attempt to flee.
Further actions on September 29 facilitated by the North Metro SWAT team landed one individual a summons to court on drug possession charges and culminated in the arrest of Kerlin Aubourg from Everett, charged with trafficking fentanyl, plus possession with intent to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine. "I would like to commend the excellent investigative work of the drug detectives under the command of Sgt. Steve Sabella," said Chief Strong, as reported by the Everett Police Department's Facebook post.
Mayor DeMaria has commended the dedication of law enforcement in protecting the community against drug-related threats. "I am grateful for the dedication of the Everett Police Department and for the collaboration with our law enforcement partners in the region and at the state level," he stated, recognizing the efforts in keeping the city's streets clear of the dangers posed by narcotics.
