The work will start between Mile Points 2 and 4 on Tuesday, then move north between Miles 6 and 7 on Wednesday. Motorists can expect to be stopped fully and will likely have to wait up to 15 minutes as traffic alternates, guided by pilot cars from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day. So, you might want to plan to leave early or find an alternative route to avoid the delays.
Here's what you need to know about the traffic impacts: Expect the work zone to enforce a 40 MPH speed reduction, and note that drivers entering the highway from a driveway or intersection will need to wait for a pilot car before they can join in the flow of traffic.
