Fairfield police have taken a local woman into custody on the grounds of burglary and vandalism. The incident, which transpired on Beck Avenue, was first signaled by a triggered alarm at 2:35 AM last Friday, bringing officers to a scene of broken glass and an abandoned brick.
According to an official social media update from the Fairfield Police Department, the search of the business premises was carried out with the assistance of a specially-equipped drone, but no initial findings of the suspect were found. It was through the lens of surveillance footage that officers were able to secure a detailed description of the individual purportedly connected with the breach.
Patrolling the area uncovered an individual behind the retail backdrop of Target/Home Depot who fit the surveillance's description of a suspect. This discovery led to the arrest of one Lopez, who was booked into Solano County Jail for burglary and vandalism.
