Another traffic stop in Fairfield, CA, led to the seizure of marijuana and a citation for a young driver.
According to a social media post from the Fairfield Police Department, Officer Hernandez pulled over a vehicle for speeding last Friday at 9:47 PM, which was carrying three individuals, all of whom were under the age of 20. The officer reported a distinct odor of fresh marijuana emanating from the vehicle.
After a search, an assortment of both packaged and unpackaged marijuana was found inside. This discovery led to the driver receiving a citation, while the marijuana was confiscated.
