According to a recent social media post from the Haltom City Police Department, the accident occurred near Fossil Creek Boulevard in the westbound express lanes around 2:45 a.m.
The scene described by first responders was severe, with one of the vehicles engulfed in flames post-crash. The driver of the aflamed vehicle, who was alone at the time of the collision, was pronounced dead at the scene.
