A motorcycle crash in the Houston Galleria area on Westheimer Road near Chimney Rock on Saturday left the rider dead. Authorities said the motorcyclist was racing other vehicles before losing control and hitting a curb, as reported by KHOU.
According to FOX 26 Houston, witnesses said the biker raced other vehicles before the crash. The biker lost control and died at the scene. No other people or vehicles are believed to have been directly involved.
Houston police are investigating a motorcycle crash on Westheimer Road that left the rider dead. Sergeant Michael Barrow said, "At this time, we have no identification for the motorist. We’re working to put all the pieces together," as mentioned by KHOU. The HPD Vehicular Crime Division is handling the case, and officials ask anyone with information about the crash to contact them.
