A former Baltimore County pastor has been arrested on charges related to multiple sex offenses, according to local police. 37-year-old Walter Sevillano, previously leading the congregation at Iglesia Cristiana Sanidad Divina in Dundalk, now faces allegations of abuse between 2023 and 2025, FOX Baltimore reported.
The Baltimore County Police Department's investigation, led by the Crimes Against Children Unit, resulted in Sevillano's arrest on accusations that the pastor capitalized on his position to commit acts of abuse at both the church premises and his Baltimore County residence; the investigation has been concentrated on events transpiring within two years, with the authorities suspecting additional victims, per the same FOX Baltimore report.
The case has garnered attention as detectives urge other possible victims to come forward and share their experiences by contacting the Baltimore County Police. Sevillano is currently detained at the Harford County Detention Center, where he remains while the police continue their inquiries into the full extent of the former pastor's misconduct, WBAL-TV reported.
