Galt Police, working with other regional police, recovered a stolen high-performance truck and arrested two suspects. One suspect was also charged with DUI. Elk Grove Police had alerted nearby law enforcement about the theft, as reported by the Galt Police Department.
The Flock camera network helped police track a stolen vehicle to Galt. Officers found the truck on the 300 block of Pine Street and detained a man standing nearby. Another man came out of a store acting suspiciously. Police determined he had driven the first man during the theft and was under the influence of alcohol, as stated by the Galt Police Department.
Two people were arrested for a theft. Elk Grove Police took one into custody for investigation, and Galt Police charged the other with a DUI. The names of the suspects have not been released. According to the Galt Police Department on their Facebook page, "This case highlights the teamwork and strong relationship we share with our regional partners to keep our community safe."
