Garth Brooks will open Summerfest 2026 in Milwaukee with a concert scheduled for June 17 next year at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the show takes place a day before the festival’s regular dates of June 18-20, June 25-27, and July 2-4 next year.
This marks Brooks’ return to Milwaukee after more than a decade and his first appearance at Summerfest. His past performances include a stadium tour averaging 95,000 attendees per show, CBS 58 reported.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster, Summerfest.com, and at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater box office, according to WISN. Each ticket includes admission to any day of Summerfest 2026.
A pre-party inside the south gate of Henry Maier Festival Park will feature live entertainment, food, beverages, and specialty cocktails, with details to be announced.
