This initiative is a perfect chance for locals to get rid of surplus household trash at no cost. However, take note that the city won't be picking up yard waste during this period. According to the City of Gastonia's official announcement, items eligible for the curb include furniture, mattresses, bedsprings, and paint cans — provided the paint is dried out.
