
A collision between a handicap METRO bus and a sedan caused major delays in north Harris County this morning. The crash happened on the 2700 block of the North Sam Houston Parkway West feeder road near Veterans Memorial Drive, and the METRO bus ended up on its side.
A crash occurred on Monday morning, as reported by Click2Houston. Emergency medical services responded to treat injuries, but the number and severity of injuries are unknown. Metro Police were also on the way, and constable’s deputies secured the scene.
Travelers were advised to expect a significant presence of emergency responders and severe traffic delays after a crash. According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, motorists were urged to use alternate routes. Details about the cause of the crash or the condition of those involved were not immediately available.
