Last Thursday, deputies with Harris County Constable Precinct 4 conducted a traffic stop in the 6400 block of the North Grand Parkway West. The driver, identified as Juan Ortiz-Calixto, was reported by deputies to show signs of intoxication, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Deputies reported that Ortiz-Calixto failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. "Juan Ortiz-Calixto was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated," stated Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Mark Herman. His bond was set at $100 by County Court 3.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, Ortiz-Calixto was arrested and faces charges for driving while intoxicated. The office, which shares updates on arrests and traffic incidents through social media and its mobile app "C4 NOW," said the case is part of ongoing enforcement efforts against drunk driving in Harris County. Ortiz-Calixto is scheduled to appear in court as the case moves forward.
