Deputies from Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance on the 7800 block of 12th Fairway Lane last Monday. The call involved a man reportedly armed with a knife, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

Upon arrival, deputies found a man, later identified as Brian Nichols, involved in a heated argument with another person. The situation became dangerous when Nichols, armed with a knife, charged at the victim. Nichols then turned toward deputies, coming "inches from the deputy’s face," Harris County Constable Precinct 4 said in a Facebook post.

Brian Nichols dropped the weapon after retreating to his room and was detained by deputies without further incident. “Brian Nichols was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Assault of a Public Servant," with bond set at $35,000 by the 497th District Court. According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, residents are advised to stay updated through their digital platforms, including the mobile app “C4 NOW,” which provides live information on crime, arrests, safety tips, and traffic alerts.
