Authorities say a disturbance call on Stuebner Airline Road on Sunday led to the arrest of a man accused of assaulting a peace officer. Harris County Constable Precinct 4 responded and found the man, later identified as Danny Barrera.
Law enforcement responded to an incident involving a man who ignored verbal commands and acted uncooperatively. He became aggressive while deputies tried to detain him, resisting physically and kicking a deputy in the stomach. After a brief struggle, Danny Barrera was detained, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Danny Barrera was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Assault on a Peace Officer," and his bond was set at $25,000 by the 262nd District Court, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page. The Constable's Office said the public can get updates on crime, safety, and traffic through their Facebook page and the mobile app “C4 NOW.”
