Harvard graduate Jada Rossman has joined Honolulu as a Housing Policy Fellow through the Bloomberg Harvard City Hall Fellowship. She will work on housing regulations for the next two years and will be based in the Managing Director’s Office, reporting to Mike Formby, according to the City and County of Honolulu.
Jada Rossman is joining Honolulu’s Department of Housing and Land Management under Gavin Thornton to help reduce bureaucracy and improve city services. "We are genuinely excited to welcome Jada Rossman to our team through the Bloomberg Harvard fellowship," Blangiardi said. The fellowship brings recent Harvard graduates into city governments with training and mentorship to support their work, as stated by the City and County of Honolulu.
Rossman, a recent Master of Urban Planning graduate, has experience in community engagement, affordable housing, and development projects, including homeownership programs in Pittsburgh. She said, "I'm honored to join the City and County of Honolulu through the Bloomberg Harvard City Hall Fellowship," and will work with local leaders on housing projects.
