For stakeholders wishing to join remotely, video conference participation is encouraged and a pre-registration option is available for interested parties. Although pre-registration is not mandatory, it is said to help the Stadium Administration Office better coordinate the delivery of meeting protocol information, simply call (808) 483-2500 to secure a spot.
When it comes to providing testimony, the Stadium Authority is clear: written testimonies must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance to be considered by the board. These can be sent via email to [email protected], by fax at (808) 483-2823, by mail, or hand-delivered to their Aiea address. In addition to written statements, oral testimonies will be accepted, with each speaker being allotted a three-minute window. As per the meeting's procedure, documents that are part of any oral testimony should also be provided prior to the meeting. Participants hoping to make their voices heard via computer can "raise your hand" in the Zoom meeting, while phone attendees are instructed to wait for the Chair's recognition before speaking.
For those interested in the more technical aspects, the meeting will feature a virtual waiting room, and the Chairperson will actively manage the video conference's speaker queue. Interruptions in the connection will warrant a meeting pause until resolved, and if an Executive Session is needed, non-board participants will be temporarily placed in the wait room. Post-meeting, the draft minutes will be posted within 40 days, ensuring ample time for review by those unable to attend in person or virtually.
