Authorities are delving into a grim investigation after workers at a Hollywood tow yard discovered decomposing human remains inside a Tesla with Texas license plates. According to KTLA, the gruesome find occurred on the rooftop parking structure of Hollywood Tow, located at 1015 N. Mansfield Ave.
The Los Angeles Police Department arrived on the scene around 12:20 p.m. Monday, seeking to unravel the circumstances leading to a foul stench emanating from the parked vehicle. The Tesla had initially been reported abandoned in the Hollywood Hills and subsequently towed five days prior, as reported by KTLA. The individual’s identity, concealed by advanced decomposition, remained unknown at the time of discovery.
Further investigation revealed the car to be registered to the singer known as D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, resident of Hempstead, Texas. This unsettling development coincides with D4vd's ongoing "Withered" world tour, with an upcoming show in Minneapolis, as Eyewitness News detailed. Subsequent inquiries directed at D4vd's representatives by Eyewitness News had yet to elicit a response.
