Yesterday morning, the quiet of Ka Uka Boulevard was shattered when a gas station fell victim to an armed robbery executed by three masked individuals. The Honolulu Police Department reported that around 3:30 a.m., the trio brandishing a firearm stormed the establishment, proceeding to heist an ATM by loading it into a white van, previously reported stolen.
The aftermath of this incident unfolded in Mililani, where the said van was discovered abandoned and set ablaze in a residential locale, and the stolen ATM was found in the vicinity. Nobody was hurt during the incident. In a social media statement, the Honolulu Police detailed descriptions of the assailants: Suspect 1 was armed with a silver and black handgun and wore a black hoodie and black mask; Suspects 2 and 3 were dressed entirely in black.
The HPD has subsequently called on the public, urging anyone with information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects to come forward.
