Last night, a chilling incident unfolded in Kalihi, leading Honolulu police to initiate an attempted murder investigation. According to an official social media post by the Honolulu Police Department, three men were targeted in a shooting incident after another vehicle halted behind their Toyota Corolla on Gulick Avenue, near North School Street, just before the clock struck 10:30 p.m.
The suspect, described as a male in his 20s, and known to the trio, stepped out of his blue four-door sedan and discharged a single shot before retreating and fleeing the scene. Miraculously, none of the victims, aged 27, 33, and 29, reported injuries.
The Honolulu Police stressed the gravity of the case and the search for the suspect continues. They are calling on the public to come forward with any information that might aid in their investigation.
