Deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office arrested a man last Monday, in connection with the alleged harboring of a runaway juvenile. The situation unfolded after the juvenile’s parents alerted authorities and began following the suspect, later identified as Dominic Pantoja, while waiting for deputies to arrive.
During the encounter, Pantoja allegedly admitted to authorities that he was aware the juvenile was a runaway and had made no attempt to return her to her home. Following this admission, the juvenile was promptly reunited with her parents.
"Dominic Pantoja was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Harboring a Runaway. His bond was set at $100.00 out o County Court 11," stated Constable Mark Herman in a social media post.
As part of its efforts to provide public information, the Constable’s Office is encouraging residents to download its mobile app, “C4 NOW.” The app offers real-time updates on crime, arrests, safety tips, traffic accidents, and road conditions in the area.
