A fatal crash occurred on Houston's 10800 block of Lucerne Street last night, resulting in the death of a 52-year-old man, according to Houston police. The incident happened around 8:40 p.m. when the driver of a red Hyundai Venue left the roadway and entered a ditch.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after the crash; however, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has not yet released confirmation of the victim’s identity.
According to a report from City of Houston News, few details are currently available about why the vehicle left the roadway and crashed. The Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division, led by Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer N. Solomon, is continuing its investigation into the incident.
