Houston authorities are investigating a fatal crash that killed a 54-year-old man around 10:10 p.m. on Monday at 6120 South Loop East on South Interstate Highway 610. The victim’s name is being withheld until family is notified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, according to the City of Houston.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Barrow and Officer T. Johnson said a man was killed after the white Infiniti QX60 he was driving struck a median wall. When he exited the vehicle to collect debris, he was hit by a gray Jeep Renegade and then by a black GMC Sierra pickup truck. Both drivers remained at the scene, showed no signs of intoxication, were questioned, and released, as reported by the City of Houston.
