Earlier today, a series of events unfolded that led to a woman being severely injured and a man being arrested after apparently causing two separate crashes in south central Houston. Reports from Click2Houston stated that the incidents began around 3 a.m. at the intersection of Dennis Street and Nagle Street, where first responders found an injured woman in the road.
According to the Houston Police Department, the woman sustained serious head injuries and was transported to a local trauma center. Her condition, however, remains undisclosed. While dealing with this accident, another crash was reported just six blocks away— where a school fence was torn down by a 2022 Mercedes that had become disabled. The driver fled the scene, but was arrested by HPD after being located on Isabella Street, FOX 26 Houston reported.
Preliminary investigations suggest a possible connection between the injured woman and the apprehended driver, indicating they may have been at a club together prior to the hit-and-run incident. Details regarding the identities of the woman and the suspected perpetrator have not been released as the police continue to probe into the matter.
