The Houston Police Department is actively seeking the assistance of the public in helping them identify two suspects involved in a forcible robbery that occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center. According to an official release on the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division website, the incident took place on the evening of August 23, 2025, around 9:50 pm, when a woman was assaulted and robbed as she was getting into her vehicle.
The incident happened in the 4700 block of Beechnut in Houston, Texas. A woman was attacked from behind by a man who grabbed her purse, causing her to fall. He then ran off and got into an older model Toyota Camry driven by an accomplice. Both suspects are still on the run, and police are working to find them. The first suspect is described as a Black male with dreadlocks, wearing a black V-neck shirt, red pants, black and white shoes, and carrying a black hoodie. The second suspect is a light-skinned Black male with a medium afro twist, wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, black flip-flops, and white socks, as detailed by the Houston Police Department's Robbery Division.
