
The Houston Police Department is asking the public for help after a robbery on September 4 at a convenience store in the 2500 block of Richmond. A woman was assaulted and robbed, and authorities are seeking information to identify the suspect, according to the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division reported that around 3:00 a.m., a Black male suspect wearing a black shirt and camo pants with a gap in his teeth tried to take a woman’s purse at a convenience store. When she resisted, he punched her several times, took her belongings, and fled. Police said, "Information leading to the charging and/or arrest of any felony suspects may result in a cash payment up to $5,000."
Houston Police say anyone with information about case #1157326-25 can contact Crime Stoppers of Houston anonymously. Tips can be submitted by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), online at www.crime-stoppers.org, or through the Crime Stoppers mobile app. Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward, as stated by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
