The Houston Chronicle reports that Houston will have highs in the mid-90s and mostly dry weather this week. Nighttime lows will be in the mid-70s with mostly clear skies. Through midweek, skies will be mostly sunny with calm winds, and there may be a slight chance of showers on Thursday.
Later in the week, there may be a chance of inland showers in the afternoons and early evenings, though rain is uncertain. The National Hurricane Center is tracking a tropical wave that could become a depression named Gabrielle, but it is not expected to affect Texas.
