
Houston will have mostly sunny weather with gradually warmer temperatures this week. According to the National Weather Service, the high will be near 90 degrees today, 91 degrees on Tuesday, and 92 degrees on Wednesday, with light northeast winds and a low around 73 degrees tonight.
FOX26 Houston reports that afternoon temperatures in Houston are expected to reach 92–94 degrees in the coming days, with mornings staying warmer than recent days and humidity remaining low. In the Atlantic, “Hurricane Humberto has been as major status since Friday and should remain at least a category 3 through today,” while Tropical Storm Imelda is forecast to cause higher waves and rain along parts of the Southeast coast.
Six years ago, another Tropical Storm Imelda caused heavy rainfall and flooding in the Houston area, as per FOX26 Houston. This past event is noted as Houston experiences a period of warmer weather this week.
