A 37-year-old woman died in a single-vehicle crash in Houston early last Saturday at around 4:25 a.m. on the 4600 block of Spur 5. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences has not released her name pending family notification, according to the City of Houston.
The Houston Police Department said a red Hyundai Elantra was traveling northbound, entered a construction zone, hit a raised concrete section, and caught fire. The driver was alone, and no other vehicles were involved. The investigation is ongoing, as reported by the City of Houston.
