Houston authorities are investigating a fatal crash on Westpark Drive that happened on Tuesday evening. The incident, which resulted in one death, occurred around 11:25 p.m. in the 7700 block of Westpark Drive, according to the City of Houston.
A man died after being hit by a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee while crossing the street outside a marked crosswalk. He was taken to Ben Taub Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The man’s identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The driver, a 54-year-old male, was involved in the incident, as reported by the City of Houston.
HPD Midwest Patrol Division officers, along with Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer M. Keita, are investigating a crash.
