In a persistent crackdown on narcotics trafficking, Jacksonville authorities have successfully seized substantial amounts of illegal drugs and firearms from a home in Panama Park. The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO), accumulating evidence since late 2023, broke into actionable grounds with the dawn of new information provided in November the following year.
The official JSO report, which emphasized the culmination of probing tips about the illicit operations at a house on East 45th Street, stated that the decisive raid was facilitated by their Narcotics Unit detectives and the District 1 Bike Team in June. Listed among the items retrieved were 544.8 grams of powder cocaine, 81.4 grams of crack cocaine, 57.5 grams of Oxycodone, 35.7 grams of MDMA, and 642.5 grams of marijuana, in addition to three firearms.
Two individuals, 27-year-old Xavier Collins and 39-year-old Casey Swilling, were taken into custody amidst the warrant execution. A subsequent arrest followed when 40-year-old Harry Morgan was apprehended connected to the case.
Community members who see anything suspicious are encouraged to call JSO at 904-630-0500. Details about the case are also available on JSO’s official social media pages.
